So, let’s start at the beginning. This Brooklyn bistro is where they had their first date. My clients Yiorgos and Emmanuelle celebrated their beautiful New York City wedding at the French bistro Bacchus on Atlantic Avenue in Brooklyn. Ordinarily, a bistro is where we eat and linger. But what do we do when we need to transform the place? How do we make a restaurant wedding this special?

To enumerate:

  • Start with a leggy, elegant Belgian bride.

  • And add a dashing groom from Greece.

  • Place them in a space abundant with spring light, raw elements, food and family.

This is how a Brooklyn wedding equals perfection.

Joyful speeches.

After a fashion.

Family and friends gathered from around the globe.

The most special guest at the wedding was Yirgos's daughter Nephele. She was nothing short of glamorous in a red jumpsuit with matching chartreuse shoes and bag, her speech was heartfelt and charming. The room was captivated as can be seen by her wonderful speech photographed above.

Accents were chosen for their clean, romantic elegance. Important to note, the bride and her sister did all the florals themselves. Simple white lanterns dangled from the tree tops.  Bud vases with spring stems were arrayed everywhere. "We went to the flower district yesterday at 6am." she chuckled. Emmanuelle and her sister left no petal unturned.

This floral perfection made everyone smile as they settled into their seats. To add to the summery mood, a jazz band set the scene. It was a real Brooklyn affair.

Overall, not a single guest was underwhelmed by the beautiful experience.

Emmanuelle wore an exquisite Gown. The vanilla Sawyer gown by BHLDN. Likewise, we took time to admire the detail shots we took with  light on the satin dress. Besides this, Yiorgos' suit was designed by a guest at the wedding. To conclude, I thank my wonderful clients for having me. Clean beauty hair and makeup provided by Pamela Rose Beauty.
