My First Book

My first book.

I'm thrilled to announce that I am developing a book project with L’Artiere Publishing.

This photo book is a collection of my work from the project Glendalis, showcasing photography from the ten year period I worked on the project. It's been an incredible journey to bring this project to life, and I'm so proud of the final product.

This book will be a great way for people to get to know me as an artist and explore my first long-term project. Furthermore, t will also be a great resource for students and aspiring photographers who are looking for inspiration and guidance on how to create beautiful photographs and embed yourself into a project. I'm confident that this art book will have something for everyone. The project itself is an exploration into my life as an artist, photographer, and storyteller. I am excited to share this journey with all of you . With the help of my publisher’s experienced team, I am confident that this will be one-of-a-kind experience for me. It is so special to be able to do this.

What is a monograph (my first book)?

So, what is monograph? Allow me to explain. Specifically, a monograph is a book which shows the work of a single photographer. Characteristically, they contain in-depth explorations of work, often, with additional commentary from curators and art critics.

Simply put, monographs are used to document a project within an artist's career. They can also celebrate the highlights of a particular photographer. Publishing a monograph is a useful way for an artist to gain recognition and appreciation for their work.
