Victoria and Albert Photography Department Museum Acquisition

You can see my recent print acquisition into the V&A here.

Screen display of my print in the Victoria and Albert Photography Collection.

Below is a postcard with the very start of the process.

That time Curator Martin Barnes sent me a handwritten note thanking me for 4 AP’s size 11x14” RA4 color prints from my project Glendalis. He knew even back then when the work was new that I was trying to say something. And now, in 2024, an actual acquisition. Not just of a print but also of my book into the National Art Library.

That’s the stuff that makes a curator.

Letter from Martin Barnes, curator to me, returning slides (remember those?) and requesting a visit to view work.

Postcard from Martin Barnes, curator, confirming receipt of prints into the department.

And finally, a photo of the acquisition with a note from the curator. What a journey.
