What is a Press Check?

The masterminds of high end offset printing, Gianluca and Gianmarco Gamberini, hard at work trying to get it all into my jet lagged brain. It was a 14 hour day full of micro decisions, speaking Italian, ink, a hot sweaty press room, and a barrel of laughs. The Gamberini brothers’ collective knowledge shines through on press. This ideology is exactly why Italy is the birthplace of artisanal level craftsmanship. I am forever thankful that they are publishing my first book - arguably, my seminal work.
